Working to strengthen communities across the province while building a vibrant and adaptable non-profit sector workforce, the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia along with the Department of Labour and Advanced Education (Workplace Initiatives Division) is excited to launch a cross-province roadshow.
This 10-community workshop features an overview of the Province of Nova Scotia’s Workplace Initiatives Program to assist organizations to be competitive employers and build on the skills we need to succeed in the workplace. We’ll then shift into a learning lab to focus specifically on the multitude of online training programs offered through Skills Online – an online training platform that provides access to thousands of courses all at no cost to you (via the Department of Labour and Advanced Education.

There is no cost to register. Please bring laptop, tablet or smartphone to access skillsonline.ca during the lab portion of the workshop. Should you need access to a laptop please let us know at time of registration as we have access to a few devices for each session.
